Thumbs up from Valve!!! Portal short is a go!Wow, how did I forget to post here, where all the publicity started, that last week Valve gave my Portal-based animated short film the thumbs-up!
After a whole lot of effort, Claire Hayes (producer) managed to get on the phone with Valve's head of legal, and not only do we now have their express approval to make the film, AND to raise money for the production (!!!), but we even got praise for what we've done so far!
I love the smell of victory in the morning. It smells like napalm.

Chell has come a long way!
Since we were getting her model thoroughly re-worked for a fresh rig anyway, I decided we should take a shot at changing her face to reflect Chell's Brazilian/Japanese background. Richard Terry Clark, her modeler, has done such a terrific job updating her, I just can't say enough about the guy.
There may be further tweaks in the next few weeks, but I think we're pretty much where we're going to be on Chell's look!
Very excited to see her properly rigged, this is gonna be great!

Hmm..HMMM...I think she looks a tad too brazilian
real chell([link]) actually got a real white skin(similar to the one in the background) and a very small nose(best would be, a mix between the one in the back and the one in the front)

it's obvious that there was going to be a bit of change here and there, but this is too much :/
