I know a thousand faves isn't a big deal for a lot of the artists here, but it's a huge deal for me, so thanks to everyone who's taken so much interest in my short!



As a result of posting this image late last year, and the subsequent global ripple of blog posts and online magazine features, I've picked up the assistance of 3D artists and animators who want to get involved, and "Companionship" has expanded into a much longer and more complete story.

I'll be in Memphis for Anime Blues Con this June, sitting in on comics and animation panels, and showing off the work in progress at my artist table.

2012 looks to be one helluva year!

This one, sadly no. The file's sources aren't in proper condition for a re-render, and I'm just too overwhelmingly busy with the production to revisit it. :(
But the new rig is coming along nicely, and the lighting crew is getting their act together, so before too much longer we'll start making new render stills with the current version of Chell! :D
